Perixx PX 5200 Mechanical Keyboard Review
|The Perixx PX 5200 A brand new keyboard that feels 3 years old!
Cable:
The cable that comes with the keyboard is nicely braided with gold connectors, it uses mini usb on the end that connects to your PC meaning its interchangeable so If the cable breaks you can replace it yourself. It gets routed around a little channel so if you tough on it it shouldn’t damage the connector. One thing to mention If you want to take use of the N Key role over you will need to used the PS2 to usb converter, which comes in the box.
Layout:
One of the most important aspects of a keyboard is its layout and thankfully they didn’t make any mistakes here. The keyboard that we have is the UK layout which has the double hight enter key and has a few other differences to something like a US keyboard. There is no really media controls although there are dedicated volume buttons, there is also a gamer button which once pressed switches of the windows keys so you don’t accidentally hit them whilst playing a game causing the game to get minimized.
There are 8 macro keys on the keyboard are setup by holding down the macro key and pressing which macro key you want to setup, you then press the keys you wish to be used and then press the macro key again. I feel the macro functionality is let down by its lack of software as you cannot link them to opening a program or anything other than entering characters.
Illumination:
This causes the blood flow to the penis to be very functional learn this here now purchase viagra as it gives better erection and increases ejaculation time. Early Morning Erection Present online prescription cialis In most of the cases. (5) Addiction to highly stimulating video watching or similar. cialis tablets 100mg You can wind up in an emergency room or worse if you don’t watch it. It blocks the conversion of testosterone into the more powerful androgen DHT. order cialis online The Illumination on the keyboard is also quite simple you can either have it off, on, just the wasd keys on, or just the arrow keys. There is no brightness controls meaning if its to bright you’ll just have to deal with it or turn it off which seems rather silly.
Key switches
One of the key selling points of the keyboard is its Cherry MX switches it comes with either RED, Blue, black or browns the one we are testing has blues which are clicky and give tactile feedback. There are thousands of videos and articles talking about why mechanical key switch are awesome so I’m not going to cover that, but one thing I did notice is that the larger keys on the keyboard such as the enter and back space keys felt a little spongy, this could be because of the supports but it defiantly stood out especially as I’m so used to typing on a razor black widow.
The keyboard also boasts N KEY role over when using the ps2 to usb convert which is very useful when typing with your face or forearm.
Build:
One thing that I really like about the keyboard is the build quality this thing is built like a tank. it barely even flexes when I try to bend it I’m pretty confident that this will be my weapon of choice in a zombie apocalypse.

Perixx PX 5200 Mechanical Keyboard Review
Overall
So overall I do like the keyboard although there are defiantly some aspects which need to be improve on. It almost feels like this was made for the market of 2012 not 2015 as not having software does mean it is fully plug and play but also means there is little to no customisation which seems sort of outdated. The spongy key problem is difficult to explain and may go away after the keyboard is worn in more or maybe mine if faulty its not a major problem but I defiantly noticed it.
