QNAP TS-231 NAS Review

So, here is my final thoughts.

This is a great NAS with a lot of features, especially that Dual Gigabit Ethernet, something I really like to see on NASs. The software is really mature and has a lot going for it, as well as the mobile apps too. The box itself looks nice and would fit in a home nicely, on a shelf or in a cabinet – and is pretty fantastic at streaming files to multiple devices! While it isn’t the cheapest on the market, for the features it has, I would say it deserves the 5% price premium over something like a Synology Diskstation (Amazon UK) versus this QNAP one (Amazon UK).
