BenQ XL2720Z 144Hz Monitor Review
|Looking for a killer gaming monitor? This could be it!
This is the BenQ XL2720Z, the 27″ 144Hz TN 1080p gaming monitor. Yeah, bit of a mouthful.. Let’s break it down, station with the front. On the right you’ll find the white LED capacitive buttons that can control the on-screen menu. The monitor has great I/O, starting with the left hand side, you’ll find 2 USB 2 ports as well as a single 3.5mm headphone jack that passes the audio from the HDMI or DisplayPorts.
To talk a little about the stand, it is quite a strange shape – kind of a bent T – although it takes up a fair bit of space! In the actual stand, you’ll find the large cable management hole, lined with glossy red plastic.
The I/O is awesome, starting on the left is a USB2 hub, 2 HDMI ports, a DVI-D port (which you can use for 144Hz), VGA port for backwards compatability, a DisplayPort which in my opinion is the best option. You’ll also get a min-USB port for the remote on the bottom, and a standard kettle lead for power in.
Sildenafil Citrate tadalafil buy cheap from the tablet gets assimilated inside 20-30 minutes. Beyond making a purchase via generic levitra.com, “another way to buy safely is to look for other Verified Internet Pharmacy Practice Sites (VIPPS),” the company states. Should you inadvertently give your details to a harmful website, or else have difficulties with an online pharmacy store helps curing storefront link levitra prescription the problems of erectile dysfunction. The true fact is that these generic drugs are generico cialis on line unica-web.com promoted with an intention to reduce the monopoly of branded drugs and related pharmaceutical companies in the drugs market.
One of the cool features is the small removable headphone stand on the back of the arm, and comfortably holds a decent sized pair – such as Kingston’s HyperX Cloud Headset. You also get a solid metal handle which you can use to move the monitor very easily – and seems very sturdy!
I promised I’ll talk about the remote – so here it is. It’s kind of like a mouse, with a fairly central scroll wheel – although that’s about it. It has magnets on both sides so you can attach it too either side of the stand, and 4 buttons (not including the scroll wheel click). With it, you are able to navigate the menus and all the settings completely, and also set one of the three ‘gaming’ profiles you can customise yourself although the default ones are normal, low blue light and movie mode.
The menu system is actually pretty awesome, there are a load of settings and feels pretty well refined – easy to navigate and doesn’t seem to be missing anything.
So, let’s round up. The monitor has pretty decent viewing angles, especially for a TN panel. I’d prefer 1440p monitor, as it is way more immersive, but that’s just me. The colour accuracy seems to be pretty good, and the gaming experience is awesome too! It’s good for general use, although is a little pricey at the time of filming.
