Razer’s NEW ITX Case – £1500 Build Guide – SYSTEM GIVEAWAY
|Before me is a set of parts sent over by Razer for me to built into this, their new ITX case, the Tomahawk. I’ve got one very, very good reason for you to stick around to the end of this video, as after I’m done building and testing this system, I get to give it away to one of you. So, make sure you are subscribed and stick around.
First, lets talk parts. Razer sent over a full build here, starting with the CPU. It’s an i5 10400F – one I’ve already reviewed so go check out that video in the cards above. That’s being set in this ASROCK Z490 ITX board, which thanks to it being Z490 means the 3200MHz RAM we’ve got here should actually run at 3200MHz. Magic, I know.
We’ve also got a Samsung 970 EVO Plus drive to stick in, along with an RTX 2060 Super from EVGA. There is a be quiet! Shadow Rock TF 2 to keep the CPU cool, and a Corsair SF 600 to keep it powered, oh and some RGB fans because of course there are. All in, this system will set you back around £1500. It’s a lot for a locked i5 and a 2060 Super I know, but that’s what we’ve got.
So, that’s the parts, now lets build it!
1080p AVG | 1080p 1% Low | 1440p AVG | 1440p 1% Low | 4K AVG | 4K 1% Low | |
Watchdogs Legion (Medium) | 86 | 67 | 66 | 53 | 39 | 33 |
COD MW (High) | 131 | 102.46 | 84 | 68.12 | 48 | 38.01 |
Cyberpunk 2077 (Ultra no RT) | 69.69 | 54.53 | 43 | 36.48 | 20 | 17.05 |
FORTNITE (EPIC) | 129 | 95.33 | 84 | 66.23 | 42 | 35.6 |
Performance, as you’d expect, its pretty decent. It’s fantastic for 1080p and even stretching to 1440p gaming. It can even stream well thanks to the NVENC encoder.
As for the giveaway, that’s pretty simple. Because of shipping costs – thanks COVID – this will be going to someone in the UK or Europe. It’s going to run into the new year, with the winner being drawn at random from the pool of eligible entries, and you’ll get an email from me asking for your delivery details. You’ll have 48 hours to respond to that email, otherwise a new winner will be drawn. You can enter at the gleam link in the description, you’ve got a few options for entering like following me on Twitter or checking out my channels.
