Dan Bull’s NEW Portable Music Workstation

This video, which is sponsored by Asus by the way, was meant to be me upgrading a laptop then bringing it to Dan bull – the amazing British rapper – but asus only went and sent us the absolute best spec of their already incredible Zephyrus Duo, so all that’s left if for me to quickly show you this beast of a machine, then wiz it over to Dan for him to try out!

So, the Zephyrus Duo. This is an incredible machine for a number of reasons, the primary of which has to be the screenpad – the second display just above the keyboard. With asus’ active lift system, the panel tilts itself up to a useful angle, and even makes room for air intakes under it meaning this thing runs cooler thanks to all that fresh air – Asus reckons you get 30% more airflow and 3dB less noise thanks to their AAS Plus 2.0 system. The display matches the width of the main panel perfectly for a seamless experience, and as Dan is about to find out, is useful for everything from gaming to video editing! 

Spec wise, this is rocking amd’s top end ryzen 9 6900hx and an nvidia RTX 3080ti laptop gpu. This specific model is also sporting 64gb of DDR5-4800 ram and a total of 4tb of raid 0 pcie gen 4 ssd space! It’s also their stunning ROG Nebula HDR Display with a MiniLED backlight, 1100 nits of peak brightness, 10 bit colour depth, 100% coverage of the DCI P3 spectrum, a 3ms response time and adaptive sync. This is legitimately the best laptop display you can get right now. I think that’s enough for now, let’s get this over to Dan’s studio and get him set up and using it!
