Cooler Master Cosmos SE Review

The back of the case is comprised of a single 120mm fan mount, 3 holes for external watercooling, the rear I/O hole, 7 + 2 PCI slot design with the +2 being the sideways, random slanted slots that I still haven’t found a good use for, and an extended, removable PSU mount. Altogether this is a pretty comprehensive rear I/O. With the size of this case, I would have expected a 140mm option on the back, but it’s not a must, and it’s likely going to be where we put that Nepton 120XL when we do the full review of that!

If you venture to the top of the case, you will be struck with two freaking awesome things. First up, the top cover. With one thumb screw on the back, you can take the dust filtered top cover off to reveal around 60mm of room for top mounted fans/radiators (of you want to cut some holes). This is amazing. having the fans still dust filtered, but outside the case is great as it gives a lot more room inside, especially if you have something like a 240mm AIO liquid cooler installed!

The next surprise is the handles. These handles are screwed (not riveted! ) to the case with 4 at each end, meaning even with a system installed and the case fully loaded, you can still pick it up from the handles (if you can lift around a tonne…). Cooler Master Cosmso SE Review.00_03_02_25.Still014
