If you’ve been in PC gaming for basically any length of time, you’ll have heard of the Logitech G502. It’s a rather nice mouse on it’s own, but now there is a new kid on the block, or, should I say, the new version of it, the G502 LIGHTSPEED. Now this video is just a showcase, since it’s sponsored by Logitech, but if you want to see a full review, do let me know in the comments.

So, in essence, this is the new wireless version of the G502. It’s capable of Logitech’s power play, so if you have their power play mouse mat you can keep this charged while you game which is awesome.

The G502 Lightspeed uses funnily enough, logitech’s lightspeed connection which they claim to be as fast, if not faster than wired mice, with a 1ms response time. That’s pretty impressive, and means a smooth and responsive gaming experience.

LIGHTSPEED is built from Logitech’s G division, which created it as a robust wireless connection, which they call a ‘pro-grade’ solution, so shouldn’t have any problems with interference, drop outs, or latency.

And, speaking of the gaming experience, the G502 LIGHTSPEED uses their HERO 16K sensor, which while it can handle up to 16,000 DPI, is also smooth and tracks incredibly well even down at the low range where a load of people tend to use them. They’ve even managed to make the mouse 7 grams lighter, for those flick headshots that I 100% cannot do.

It’s still the same shape as the wired version, so if you have one and love it, you won’t be missing out much. It even still has it’s bottom mounted weights system, which I know some of you like a lot. While this isn’t a review, I do want me mention that I really liked my experience with the G502 Lightspeed. It’s a mouse that tracks well, games well, charges easily especially with power play, and is definitely something I like a lot.

If you want to get your own, or learn more about it, you can check out the link in the description and “cut the cord” along with me and everyone else picking one of these up, and experience gaming without limits. You can also check out Logitech on Twitter, instagram and Facebook, and if you send them a photo of your mouse, they might just give you a free Logitech one to replace it!
