Zotac GTX 960 AMP! Edition Review

Zotac GTX 960 AMP! Edition Review.Still001Zotac GTX 960 AMP! Edition Review.Still002Zotac’s GTX 960 is a hell of a 1080p offering. It isn’t the best GTX 960 we have looked at, but it still performs very well in cool conditions! As always, first thing’s first, the box. It’s fairly small, lists the now 5 year extended warranty for the card, the Nvidia features available and the 2GB of GDDR5 VRAM. It also lists Zotac’s fairly new FireStorm software, which we covered in our Zotac GTX 980 AMP! Extreme edition review! The back is much the same story, with plenty more about firestorm, the Nvidia features such as G-Sync, Shadow Play and more.

Inside the box you’ll get a sleek black info pack, which includes a worthless driver disk… As well as a dual molex to 6 pin PCI-E power adapter and the card itself. It’s nice they include the power adapter, but on something like an AMP! edition card, I would really like to see a nicer, sleeved cable here, as this adapter makes you feel like the card is a bit naff if you did have to use it for whatever reason.
